OBAMA IS OUR MAN IN IOWA

barack_obama_portrait_2005.jpg

Barack Obama came in first among the Democratic presidential candidates in yesterday’s Iowa caucus. The charismatic former Illinois senator beat out John Edwards and Hillary Clinton for the top spot.

Obama’s lead was nothing short of impressive. Obama took nearly 38 percent of the vote followed by Edwards with just shy of 30 percent. Hillary came in third with less than a full percentage point difference from Edwards. This is a setback for Hillary, who is regularly placed in the Democratic top spot in national polls.

Polls also place Hillary in first place for next week’s primary in New Hampshire. But with Obama’s extremely strong showing yesterday the Hillary and Edwards’ camps must be working damage control overtime. Still, regardless which one wins the Democratic nomination- Obama, Hillary, Edwards- America will undoubtedly win back the White House after eight years of disgraceful leadership.

Huckabee, Romney, Giuliani, Thompson- they don’t stand a chance!
