HILLARY HAS FUN AS 'FLIGHT ATTENDANT'
Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton had some fun Wednesday with her traveling press corps as she traveled between campaign stops in Nevada. As reported on Breitbart.com, while taxiing down the runway in Las Vegas the former First Lady offered a delightful impression of a commercial flight attendant for the reporters.
“Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen and welcome aboard the maiden flight of Hil Force One,” she said playfully as the plane prepared to depart for Reno. “My name is Hillary and I am so pleased to have most of you on board. FAA regulations prohibit the use of cell phones, blackberries or wireless devices that may be used to transmit a negative story about me.”
“In the event of an unexpected drop in poll numbers,” added Clinton, “this plane will be diverted to New Hampshire.”
Hillary’s comedy routine went on for a few minutes to the delight of the press corps and no doubt a bevy of Clinton supporters and internet bloggers.
With Hillary’s recent wins in New Hampshire and Michigan, the Senator from New York has a lot to smile about. But with Barack Obama still a commanding opponent in her quest for the White House, and an as yet unbeaten John Edwards not far behind, it may take more than just a charming comedy bit to secure the nomination. We here at LookingLeft.com are maintaining our neutrality in the nomination process- indeed, at the risk of sounding like anti-American Sean Hannity we say “We’ll back the winner!” But Hillary’s note of levity is a welcome break from the tension and excitement of a tough race. Kudos Senator Clinton!
